Premedia and Repurposing

Repurposing, if you are not sure, basically means recycling existing digital assets - images, graphics or copy for use in another environment or application.  We offer many technical solutions to ensure these assets are ready for any successive environment or process, to make certain the finished product meets your expected standard.  And with the sophistication of software and production methods these days, there is virtually no asset that cannot be repurposed.

Low to Complex Prepress Treatments

Although all SGS-built artwork is prepress-ready, the artworks are not likely to be immediately press-ready, meaning they have to undergo simple or highly complex procedures to make them ready for press.  This is the case for virtually all artwork that is released to a Printer or Packaging Supplier, from any artwork source.

These specialized treatments ensure that the artwork is adjusted to compensate for the idiosyncrasies of a particular printing process or press.   They help improve the visual appearance of the printed job by improving the color, eliminating mis-registration, improving flaws in images etc.

SGS uses combinations of high-end ESKO prepress workflows or manual treatments to ensure every artwork is ready for production.

Color Management

SGS provides intuitive image retouching, color correction and ink replacement services to ensure product and brand integrity is maintained across multiple production processes and substrates.
