You should be fully conversant with Adobe CS3 Software – Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop, particularly:

• Photoshop - spot channels, transparency and DCS 2.0 files
• Illustrator - transparency, trapping/bleed, overprinting and pullbacks

You will pre-flight and deliver production-ready, digital artwork to Printers for plate making and proofs. 你將會處理你將會處理檔案輸出檢查(Pre-flight) 及發送處理好的數碼檔案，作印刷公司製板及打稿之用。

Experience working in a pre-press environment is preferred. Ideally, you will have a recognized qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent, preferably within a packaging or printing environment. 需具有印前製作經驗或有關包裝/印刷的資歷。

Necessary skills:

• Good knowledge of English – reading, writing and speaking
• Good knowledge of Putonghua - speaking
• Excellent output skills.
• High attention to detail.
• The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Troubleshoot digital file output problems.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of prepress techniques in both Illustrator and Photoshop
• You should be confident trapping jobs, both manually as well as automatically.
• Have knowledge of separating; for inks, spot varnishes, foil blocks, die-cut
• Image retouching.
• Spot to CMYK, CMYK to Spot conversions
• Maintain a high level of understanding of all relevant software packages.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team.

• 良好的英語-聽說寫能力
• 良好的普通話及廣東話聽說能力
• 良好印前制作(output) 及相關經驗
• 緊慎及有條理 • 能在壓力下工作
• 能發現並修復有問題的數碼輸出檔案
• 對 Photoshop 及 Illustrator 中的印前處理有較深入的認知及經驗
• 能有效地手動或自動製作補漏白(疊邊/爆肥)
• 對不同的分色有認識 例如: 油墨，過油，燙金，制切線等
• 修圖
• 專色及印刷色的互換
• 對有關印前處理的軟件有一定的認知
• 良好溝通能力
• 適應在隊團中工作

These extra skills would be very advantageous*:

• Knowledge and proven experience of the Flexo print process and prepress skills associated with it.
• Flexo skills in Photoshop - applying minimum dots to images.
• Cleaning up images and manipulating CMYK to enable good flexo printing of an image.
• An understanding dot gain.
• Proofing, colour management and ICC profiles.
• Knowledge of PackEdge Software and DeskPack software.

*Training will be given in the above fields where necessary.

• 能依據柔板(Flexo)製作的要求在多色的圖案中處理 : 清潔，修飾，最小網點 (applying minimum dots)，網點增大等

• 懂數碼打稿，色彩管理，ICC 特性檔
• 操作PackEdge 及 Desk Pack
