Your main priority will be taking high-quality digital photos of various domestic, electrical and household products for some of the world’s largest retailers.

Your experience:

• Speak fluent; Cantonese and English
• Putonghua is an advantage
• 10 years + experience with Film Photography
• 5 years + experience with Digital Camera Systems;
  • PhaseOne, Hasselblad or Leaf.
• Indoor and outdoor photography
• Retail photography; electronics, appliances, toys, home accessories etc
• Lifestyle, inc. models/talent, clothing and mood shots
• Creative styling of staging and props
• Professional understanding of Photoshop CS2
• Experience with Apple Macintosh OS X
• Experience with Email and Internet
• Ability to work under pressure

General Day-to-day Routine

Photography

• Regular production meetings with Production teams.
• Work with Artwork Studio on sample photography and concepts
• Arrange sets and buy props
• Arrange and photograph clients products
• Image cleaning/retouching and manipulation
• Paths / product extraction
• Preparing proofs by JPG, PDF or Web
• Image transferring
• Image filing and archiving

Adhoc Routine

• Work with Photography Sales Manager to win new business
• Create competitive quotations and estimates
• Artwork Studio support
• Assist Production team with Training Workshops
• Overtime may be required in peak seasons
• Assist in the development of the Photography Studio
• Support and train junior photography assistant
