Business Sales Executive

You will be solely responsible, with Management support, for marketing, selling and developing an autonomous division, for one of the largest graphic and packaging companies in the world.

Must have international experience and be commutable to the Hong Kong office. You must have a proven track record in both new business and account management. Will need to have drive and entrepreneurial skills and be prepared to lead by example. Knowledge of the graphic and packaging industry is essential.

The role will be predominantly new business, but it is expected that the person employed will be involved in the account management of the clients that they bring.
The Sales Executive will be an integral part of the whole team, and will be expected to be forward thinking, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Research existing clients to see where business can be maximised.

They pride themselves on good customer service and retention of clients. The person employed will need to prioritise these values, and make sure that all customers (no matter how big or small) are treated the same way, ensuring their needs and requirements are continually met.

The Sales Executive will be expected to keep up to date with graphic and packaging industry news and knowledge, circulating this to colleagues when relevant.
There may be some International travel required to Europe and the US.

Candidates should have a proven track record in sales, and examples of where they have developed new business. They should be enthusiastic and motivated, able to make confident cold calls and conduct meetings. The Candidate should have an excellent understanding of graphic and packaging services, to help enhance customer engagement and add value to our services and products.

The candidate will need to demonstrate strong negotiation skills, and sell the specific benefits of SGSAP and its services and products.

They should be excellent communicators, and used to writing high quality proposals. Organisation and administration skills are essential.

Additionally, candidates should be interested in getting to grip with the issues surrounding packaging and environmental issues in the current climate, and be able to deal competently with objections; troubleshooting where necessary.

At least 2 immediate, consecutive years experience in a competitive graphic and packaging sales environment is mandatory. Relevant industry contacts would definitely be a benefit but they are not necessary.

  • Fluent English speaking and writing
  • Mandarin or Cantonese, beneficial – but not required
  • 5-10 years Graphic and Packaging Industry Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Word processing and Presentation document creation
  • Exceptional Organisational Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Advanced Sales & Negotiation Skills (over 2 years experience)

Education
Honors Degree Preferred, but not essential if relevant experience proven

Salary and Commision
Depending on experience.

Requirements
